We blog about all kinds of things here at Healthy Tote. We talk about making ourselves better, a lot about health and wellness, our busy lives, holidays, our children and anything else that our heart feels lead to blog about. Today is no different. Today we are talking about the holiday, Easter.
Talking about religion may not be politically correct. But Healthy Tote wouldn’t exist if it weren’t for “religion.” You see, I have a relationship with Jesus. You know, the one that died on the cross, so that our sins could be forgiven, so that one day we sinners can go to Heaven. He’s the one that has given me the faith to continue down the path of building Healthy Tote. There’s been many days I have wanted to give up, but then he shows me that I need to keep going. So here we are, still blogging and providing women with a product to make their lives better.
This week we celebrate Easter. You know I love google searches so let’s get the definition straight from Wikipedia.
Easter,[nb 1] also called Pascha (Greek/Latin)[nb 2] or Resurrection Sunday, is a festival and holiday celebrating the resurrection of Jesus from the dead, described in the New Testament as having occurred on the third day of his burial after his crucifixion by the Romans at Calvary c. 30 AD. It is the culmination of the Passion of Jesus, preceded by Lent (or Great Lent), a forty-day period of fasting, prayer, and penance. For my Christian friends out there, how will you celebrate this week? Do you celebrate with the Easter bunny and family and friends? Do you go to church? What does Easter mean to you? For me, it means I have a savior that walks by my side every single day. Someone that know what I’m personally going through. Someone that holds my hand when times are tough. Someone that allows me to grow through things that I question, only to come out stronger than I was before. Someone to give all my cares and worries to and someone who I know will listen and is there.
Someone that has given me Faith that has changed my life.
